We took the subway to Dongdaemun History and Culture Park station so that we can board the bus to Vivaldi Ski Resort. We wanted to have lunch at the Cafeteria but it was only going to open at 1 plus and we wanted to ski at 2.30pm. We decided to eat at Burger King instead. The menu at Burger King @ Vivaldi is super short. It only has Whooper junior, Whooper, Whopper with more cheese and chicken drumlets.
We wanted to buy the tickets for the skiing and equipment rental, but only when we asked did we realised that there is a cleaning time at 5.30 – 6.30pm. So if we bought the 2.30 – 8.30pm timeslot, we couldn’t ski much, hence we decided to ski in the morning from 10.30am to 3pm.
We check into the resort and watched Mnet while resting. We headed for dinner together with Samantha and her BF. We had a giant size Kimbap, Ddeokbokki and Rice cake & Dumpling soup. Very cheap and filling (: We brought a tub of Baskin Robin’s ice cream back to the room to eat and chat about the Korean groups on Mnet.
The next day we took about an hour and a half to get the appropriate size for the ski attire, boots and ski plate. After that we finally got to ski ^^ I think because I kind of ski before, it was not too hard for me to ski. I managed to ski down 4 times, but only made a successful trip down. Zhu Wei and I got hungry as it was lunch time (but our ski timing ends at 3pm, meaning our chairlift & grandola ends at 3pm too), we went to get Churros and Hot Chocolate. After we took the grandola, we had lunch and chat while we waited for the shuttle bus timing to go back to Seoul.
After we bought our groceries for the Seoul apartment from E- mart, I packed my stuff for Busan as I have a very packed schedule the next day.
